Belmont Racetrack Is Never Prepared
I've been to the Belmont every time there's a Triple Crown on the line for the last 25 years. They are NEVER prepared for the crowds. A line with only 10 people in front of me takes a half hour to get food or drink. In this line I was in, the cashier is also the person who prepares your drink. Ridiculous! After spending a half hour in the drink line, I couldn't be bothered to get in another half hour line for a pretzel or any food the whole time I was at the track, so they make less money.
They also ran out of the souvenir Belmont glasses. Hello? It's your big day of the year. You simply CANNOT run out of the souvenir commemorating the big event that you know is coming to your venue. Every year. You have a year to prepare for it. Get busy. Sheesh.
